Operatives of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, otherwise known as Amotekun Corps, arrested no fewer than 12 suspected kidnappers and armed robbers in the state at the weekend.

The commander of Amotekun Corps in the state, Adetunji Adeleye, disclosed this while parading the suspects at the command’s headquarters in Akure, the state capital.

Adeleye, who is the Special Adviser to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on Security Matters, emphasised that the corps is committed to curbing crime across the 18 local councils of the state.

While issuing a stern warning to criminals in the state to pack and leave, he said: “Of the 12 being paraded, seven of them were arrested in Owo; out of the arrested seven, four of them were contracted to the job of kidnapping and armed robbery in Ondo State by the remaining three.
