Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has congratulated Jibrin Baba Ndace on his appointment as the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of Voice of Nigeria (VON) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Bago, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, described the appointment as well deserved.
He explained that Baba Ndace is an astute journalist who has made his mark in the media industry.
According to him, “the competence and capacity of Ndace to move VON to greater heights is not in doubt”.
The governor expressed optimism that the new DG of VON will make Niger State in particular and Nigeria in general proud, while promising to give him all the needed support to succeed.
Recall that Ndace served as CPS under the administration of immediate past governor Abubakar Sani Bello in the state.
